collaborative & experimental arts for a more creative & connected community

The Price Hill Creative Community Festival is a FREE performing arts and neighborhood festival hosted by MYCincinnati. Performances will happen over 2 days across 4 venues in East Price Hill.

FRI & SAT  ||  July 29 & 30

The Price Hill Creative Community Festival brings internationally-renowned performing artists together with the musicians of MYCincinnati (Price Hill Will's youth orchestra) to create totally unique & totally unpredictable performances. This year's Artists-in-Residence defy even modest classification... from legendary hip-hop globetrotter Napoleon Maddox, to underground art-rockers Lazy Heart, Israeli punk composer Ofir Klemperer, Cincinnati's "Silent Poet" Desirae Hosley, and dream-pop songwriter Isaac Karns. Each of these artists will be performing brand-new work, in collaboration with the young musicians of MYCincinnati.

Additional performances by MYCincinnati's Youth Orchestras & Bucketeers, POP EMPIRE, Cincinnati Opera, Jennifer Simone, poet Zohair Hussain, cellist Genevieve Guimond, Siri Imani & more; as well as performances of works by Philip Glass, Pauline Oliveros, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Peter Ostroushko & others. Check out the Artists page for more details.

The Creative Community Festival is a joyful, inclusive celebration of all the things that make Price Hill amazing: its diversity, its creativity, its realness, and most of all, its people.

MYCincinnati is a free, daily youth orchestra program in Price Hill. Founded on the idea that personal transformation is possible through the pursuit of musical excellence, students enrolled in MYCincinnati have the opportunity to learn violin, viola, cello, and double bass, and play in an orchestra. Currently, there are 93 students enrolled in MYCincinnati that meet for 2-3 hours every weekday after school. MYCincinnati is inspired by El Sistema, Venezuela's national network of youth orchestras that uses music as a vehicle for social change.

MYCincinnati is a program of Price Hill Will, a non-profit community development organization that serves the neighborhoods of East, West, and Lower Price Hill.
